Check out page 639 of the 2003 West Marine Master Catalog!  There's Dorothy and I demonstrating the Doyle Marine QuickStep on Dakota on the bottom half of the page!  We made it again on Page 751 of the 2004 West Marine Master Catalog and on Page 675 of the 2004 Boat U.S.!

For 2005, we are on page 753 of the West Marine Master Catalog.

Dave Doyle took that photo about two years ago, I think.  We were at the D Dock pumpout (north side), when Dave wandered along and asked us if we would demo the step, which I had purchased from him some months earlier.  We launched the dinghy and brought it alongside Dakota.  We then left the bow of Dakota tied to the dock so that the stern would swing away.  That way Dave could remain on the dock, while it appeared that Dakota was out in the middle of the harbor.  Problem is, is that you really can't tell any of that from the little picture in the catalog.  You can just barely see that I am standing in the dinghy.  Oh well, it was a good idea.
