"The Sailors" are Ed & Dorothy Johnson.  I'm the Sailor because of my love of sailing.  Dorothy; because she tolerates me and we used to live together aboard our boat Dakota for six years.  In July of 2006 we finally bought a house and moved ashore.

Dorothy and I were originally married in 1966, and we were married for 16 years when we divorced.  We had been divorced for 21 years.  As I said on a previous page, about six months after the start of my last divorce (The divorce proceedings lasted from February 1999 through the first part of 2006), I had become reacquainted with Dorothy and had started dating her again.  We hadn't really spoken too much to each other in the previous 10 years.  A humorous note; soon after I started dating Dorothy again, my son called me and asked me what my intentions were towards his mother!

Another humorous note.  Dorothy loves Chinese food, and one evening, I think at Su Zhou's in Point Richmond, I opened a fortune cookie and found the following fortune:

Well, apparently we didn't heed that warning, because Dorothy and I were re-married on December 30, 2003 in Reno, Nevada.  A funny thing happened on the way home from Reno.  Read about The Wedding.
